Orchard Daughters – Merched Y Berllan are based near Machynlleth with decades of experience, mostly operating across Mid Wales including Powys, Shropshire, Gwynedd, and Ceredigion. Machynlleth is at the centre of the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere Reserve, a valley internationally recognised for its natural beauty, heritage and wildlife, and for its people’s efforts to make a positive contribution to a more sustainable world.

Orchard Daughters – Merched Y Berllan are specialists in all things orchards including: Restoration of old orchards, Development of new orchards, Pruning, Planting & picking, Audits, Management Plans, Individual tree care, Sustainable pest management, Bespoke tree selection packs, and supplier of specialist forms such as espalier, step over, and fan trained trees.

We have our own fruit tree nursery which operates to organic principles without certification. We grow and sell a range of fruit tree varieties, including apple, pear, cherry, plum, damson and elderberry, that we have hand selected for growing in the sometimes tough climate of Wales. We are a high quality low volume supplier, mostly selling to our own consultancy client list and to specialist architects and sustainable developers, but we do keep stock back for inspired individuals.
